Hey, I'm Julie 🌟      I’m in my mid-40s (eep!), and I live in a nursing facility in the Central Valley in California. I love arts & crafts. I like to paint with watercolor and acrylics, and color with colored pencils, crayons, and markers. All of that depends on my health and how I am feeling, though. I also like to listen to music. My fave genre is pop from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, as well as country music from around the same time.      I also like to watch TV & movies. My watchlist for both is huge and covers multiple genres. I also like to read. I have a bunch of books on my Kindle “bookshelf.” Reading also depends on how I’m feeling and what my attention span can handle. I sometimes cannot handle more than 2 chapters before I start zoning out. I hate that, favorite author.      My expertise: I have been using the internet for 30 years (omg that makes me feel old) and started designing my own websites over 12 years ago. Starting with AOL’s Easy Designer, then moving on to Geocities, and finally my own domain (which has now closed due to the cost). I have experience (ranging from beginner to advanced) using Canva, CPanel, HTML coding, WordPress, Paint Shop Pro, and Wondershare Filmora. I am new to using Neocities.      Why I created this website: Since I had to close my domain, I needed a new place to host all the things, so I landed here. I am also in the process of relaunching my WordPress blog, but we’ll see how that goes.      Favorites:      Food: a really good turkey, avocado, and Swiss sandwich from Togo’s (#24, with all the things except for salt and pepper), chicken and pasta, and Chinese food (I love potstickers!)      Drinks: ice water, Lemonade, Cherry Lime-Aid from Sonic, Cherry 7-Up      TV Shows: Grey’s Anatomy, The Rookie, The Walking Dead, Law & Order: SVU, Tracker      Music: *NSYNC, Taylor Swift, Mckenna Grace, Dasha      Colors: baby blue, lavender, pale green, hot pink, black      Movies: Fast and the Furious (mostly the first 3), Mean Girls, How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days, On The Line (the one with Lance Bass & Joey Fatone), House of Wax (yes, the one with Paris Hilton), Simply Irresistible, No Strings Attached, Scream (all of them)
